Benefits of Central Air Conditioning Additions & Replacements
Upgrading your heating and cooling system not only raises the value of your home. Today’s HVAC systems are more effective and efficient than ever, allowing you to keep your home more comfortable while potentially lowering your energy bills. Modern air conditioners use 30% to 50% less energy to generate the equivalent amount of cooling as the AC units of the 1970s. Even if your air conditioner is only 10 years old, you may save 20% to 40% off your energy costs by replacing it with a more efficient model. And,if you have an electric or propane-based furnace, adding a heat pump system will provide both heating and cooling while saving hundreds of dollars per month.

Central Air Conditioning Systems & Whole House Air Conditioners
We offer ductless and centralized split-system AC units. Below is a quick description of each kind of AC unit you can choose from but deciding which unit is right for you can be overwhelming. Please feel free to contact us with any and all of your questions.
Ductless Air Conditioning
Ductless air conditioners are a home comfort solution that can be used in homes or rooms without air ducts. They typically consist of two units, one indoors and one outdoors, which are connected with cables, tubing, and a condensate drain. The indoor unit takes in warm air from your home and blows it over cold evaporator coils, which absorb the heat and then move it to the outdoor unit.
Ductless Air Conditioning With Heat Pump
While we offer standalone ductless AC systems, we highly recommend buying an AC/Heat Pump package. The difference in cost is slight and they are reported to be 30% more efficient by the U.S. Department of Energy.
Split-system Air Conditioners
In a split-system central air conditioner, an outside cabinet contains the condenser and compressor, and an indoor cabinet contains the evaporator. Hence it is split into two distinct parts. A split-system air conditioner will also contain a furnace or air handler. If your home already has a furnace but no air conditioner, a split-system is the most cost-effective central air conditioner to install.

How to Choose an HVAC Contractor: 10 Questions to Ask
In this blog post, we will look at 10 key questions you should ask any HVAC contractor before hiring them.
My Furnace Won’t Turn On! What Should I Do?
There are a number of reasons why your furnace might not turn on. In some cases, you may be able to fix the problem yourself even with minimal HVAC knowledge. In other cases, you should call a professional furnace repair technician.
The 4 Best Heating Options for Energy Efficiency
If your heat pump or furnace is nearing 15 years of age, it’s time for it to be replaced. Since heat pumps are used year-round for heating and cooling, they don’t last as long as other heating units. Though a well-maintained furnace can last up to twenty years, it is a good idea to get it replaced before winter hits.
